~*Life Goes On*~

Life here in UK have been pretty bizarre lately...strange things seem to happen to me and i am definitely not enjoying it...although for some few special occasions. Anyway, i get to see who my real friends are...those friends whom i have been relying upon during my 2nd year in college turns out to be jerks. Instead, those friends whom i am not close to during my days in college turns out to be really nice to me. Whenever, i am in need especially when i am crying over my dog, they will always lend me their shoulder...and yes, i still cry almost everyday whenever i think of my parents, my lovely dog and not forgetting my best pals back in Penang and those in KL too. Oh yeah, and there's one in Brisbane and another who is staying so close to me, in Manchester. By the way, thanks Yong Ming for calling me to calm me down when i was actually crying at that moment. True friends like them are extremely hard to find...and i do cherish our friendship a lot...i wish you guys are here with me. My friends here in UK are great but it's hard to trust them 100%...the most i can trust them is like 85%. It's hard to predict when they could turn behind your back and stab you without you knowing. For example, a close friend of mine was betrayed by another friend and he's feeling so dissappointed and sad for always believing her. Having warned him many times to be aware of this girl, he still treats her so well and put too much faith in her...and in the end, that's what the consequences is about. I really pity him but he should have listen to me earlier and he wouldn't have to regret now because it's already too late. But then, i will always support him no matter what happens because friendship plays a really important thing in my life. I really thank God for providing me with such incredible and wonderful friends back in Malaysia whom i know i can always trust. Our friendship will last till the very end...missing you guys so so much. I do agree with a close of mine who said that as time passes by, we get parted further and further away from each other. Who knows what the future holds for us...we can't predict what will happen in the next phase of our life...we might ended up getting married and have our own family and et cetera. I still remember when we were young...we used to said that we will go to the same university and stay at the same house when we are old one day and yes, it does seems more and more far-fetched day by day. How i wish we could still have as much fun as we used to had during our teenage life...doing all those crazy stuffs which are sometimes deemed to be illegal. We know that we will soon go our different ways one day but who knew it would be that soon...time really flies by quickly...in an blink of an eye, i've been in UK for more than two weeks already. Hopefully next time when we get married (if that really happens), we will still keep in contact with each other. As for me, i guess i will be staying here for approximately 3 years...1 year (which is this year) to finish my final year of degree, 1 year to do my Masters and another year to find a job here...and who knows, i might eventually settle down in UK if have i found myself a suitable partner whom will take great care of me...hahaha!!! The only thing i miss most about Malaysia are my parents, my dog, my friends and definitely the food there...oh, how i miss the fried koay teow, fried rice, laksa, hokkien mee, curry mee, wantan mee, char hor fun, chee cheong fun, jawa mee and many many more. Besides my friend's cooking (by the way, who is a good cook), I've been eating fast food such as McDonald's, KFC and Burger King nearly everyday since i've been here...errgh, i am so sick of all those of food...i need proper meals...and for the past few days, my friend have been so lazy to cook because she gets exhausted so easily after cooking for so many people...have some sympathy on her. I've been putting on so much weight due to the lack of exercise...no gyming here cause the membership fees is so bloody expensive...can't even go jogging because it's so cold. My studies have been quite smooth too except that i have classes everyday from Mondays to Fridays...back in my college, i only have 3 days class. Luckily my campus is located very near to my place...about less than 5 minutes walk. The weather here have gone mad lately, it's just autumn and the temperature here is freezing cold. I have to wear thick layers of clothes and i definitely look like a big furry ball...anyone wanna cuddle me? I will definitely go crazy by the time winter comes...anyway, i gotta stop bogging for now. Shall blog again soon...take care guys...bye!!!

~*I Am In Love With My University*~

Everything here in my university is computerised. If you wanna reload your mobile phone, all you need to do is go to the vending machine and purchase your reload coupon from the vending machine...which save you lots of time and hassle then to go to the phone shop or convenient store just to purchase a reload coupon. Besides that, borrowing books from the library is also computerised...how cool is that? It's awesome...you can borrow up to 7 books per person for a full one month although there are some books which you can only borrow for 7 days. When you wanna borrow a certain book, all you need to do is to go to the machine, scan your student card and lastly, scan the barcode attached to the book and it's done...there's no need to line up to borrow books from the counter or whatever stupid shit! Back at my previous college in Malaysia, whenever i wanna borrow a book, i have to take the book to the counter and the library lady will have to stamp the date of return and we are only allowed to borrow 1 or 2 books for a maximum of 2-3 days per time. Not only that, the library here in my university is extremely huge...it has a total of 6 floors and there are also 6 elevators leading to all the floors. It's many many many times bigger compared to the public library in Penang. The best thing is that each book has about more than 10 copies each...so that students don't have to fight to get hold of a certain book. All sorts of registration or enrolment is done through online registration...no stupid old-fashion way of filling up forms. Oh yeah, all our assignment are to be received through online from our own webpage or better known as the "eLearning Portal". All students have their own webpage where the lecturers can communicate with. The technology here is super awesome...super cool...super fabulous. The food here in the university cafeteria serves one of the most delicious food ever and it's quite cheap too. There's even a Starbucks coffeehouse inside the cafeteria...fantastico. I am so madly in love with the advance technology here in UK...especially the technology of my university. Northumbria University which i am studying at is currently leading the way in Information Technology (IT) after being named the UK’s ‘Most IT-Enabled Organisation’. Anyway, enough blogging already...i gotta go get some sleep because i have class at 9am tomorrow morning...bye!!!

~*Best Clubbing Experience Ever*~

Last night was the best night i ever had eversince i arrived here less than 2 weeks ago...i went clubbing here in UK for the first time...and it was superbly awesome. It was Shyam's birthday so he kinda invited us over to this club called YO DISCO to celebrate his birthday and have fun at the same time. The clubs over here provide free bus service if you purchase over a certain amount of entrance tickets...and my friend, Shyam invited approximately 30 of us...yup, you read right...there were 30 of us...the whole bunch of us went clubbing together and the entrance fees/charge was paid by the birthday boy. All i need to pay for was my drink...and yes, as usual i ordered a glass of coke which cost me 1.50 pounds. The soft drinks here are so bloody expensive...vodka cost only 1 pound per bottle and a Heineken beer only cost 80 pence per bottle. It surely was crazy...but it's still very much cheaper compared to the drinks sold at clubs back in Malaysia. Anyway, i was kinda nervous at first...thinking twice whether i should go to clubbing or not...because for fear that i am an Asian...or more commonly known here as brown skin people. I was worried that i could ended getting injured by some seriously racist local skinheads. But upon arrival at the club, everyone there was very friendly...unlike clubbing in Malaysia, people here will dance with you eventhough you don't know them at all...they will invite you to dance with them. As i walking to the toilet, there were two guys who invited me over to dance with them and i kinda agreed. So, we kinda danced for a little while till one of the guy grabbed my hands and pulled me towards the toilet...i sensed something was going very wrong...i thought i am a gonner for sure and they are gonna beat me up due to the fact that they are racist and they don't like chinese. But i was so so so shocked that they nearly rape me...yup, believe me...it was a horrifying moment at that time...i am not lying. He pushed his pants right towards me but before he could remove his pants, i got freak out...i tried to run away but the other guy held me so tightly...held my hand for your info...not somewhere else. I was so scared at the moment...i didn't know what to do...and i tried to gave excuses that my friends are waiting for me to go back to the table. At last, after much hesitation, the other guy agreed to let me go...and i ran like a mad dog back to my table and complained to my friends. After that, i didn't see the two guys anymore...i guess they went sumwhere else already. After that, i continued dancing and performing my raunchy moves throughout the night. I know you guys reading my blog will think i am so stupid to avoid such a good opportunity to get laid, but in reality, it really freaks me out. In my opinion, the two guys were drunk...but probably not too...i don't know and don't care whether they are drunk or not...i just tried my very best to run away as far as possible. Guys, this is not a make-up story...it's real...for heaven sake...and for those of you who know me well enough, you know that i am not a boaster. This experience is true...and thinking back, maybe i should have accepted the offer because both the guys are quite gorgeous too...hahaha!!! Anyway, that happened in a straight club...what will happen if i have gone to a gay & lesbian club...which is located just opposite of the club we went to. I didn't think that such things could happen to me last night. I went there with the intention of looking at some eye-candies and dancing all night long and at the same time, celebrate my friend's birthday. Okie, i guess i better than stop blogging for now...wanna go to Chinatown to have my buffet dinner already...yummies...blog some other time...bye!!!

~*This Is The Most Craziest Shit Ever*~

Woah...today me and my friends went shopping at Morrisons to buy some foodstuffs to cook for dinner. We bought so many things till the trolley cart is full of our groceries. We were suppose to take a bus back to my friend's accommodation (where we always gather there for lunch and dinner) but we ended up walking back instead of taking the bus. And the craziest thing we did was to push the whole trolley cart back to her accommodation...about a kilometre walk from the shopping centre back to the accommodation. Holy shit!!! Everyone walking on the street kept staring at us...some even laugh at us...i have no where to hide my face...it's the most humiliating thing that i have ever done in my entire life. Luckily it's not me who have to push the trolley cart...it's my bestest pal here at Newcastle, Alan from Hong Kong who has to do the dirty and embarassing job. I guess Hong Kong people have really thick face for being so daring to do such a shameful act. Imagine guys, pushing as supermarket trolley cart back to the accommodation was unbelievable and hilarious too at the same time. Well, i guess this experience will last in my memory for a very very long time...the day that i will never forget for doing such an embarassing thing. The worse part was that we never return the trolley cart back to the supermarket...we just kinda left it outside my friend's accommodation and ran our asses back up to her room...which means that we kinda stole the trolley cart...i wonder what will happen should the police found out or something like that. I really could not imagine...hahaha!!! But we have no choice...it's just to heavy to carry so many stuffs back to my friend's place and it's really a hassle to carry so many things to catch a bus back...so the best thing to do is to push the whole trolley back with us. Anyway, enough about the trolley cart topic...i should move on to something more serious. One of my friend told me that we will know who our true friends are upon arriving in UK. I totally agree with her...what she said is so true...thanks AK for being so concern. The person i thought was a great friend to me turned out to be a donkey ass...a useless piece of junk...who knows nothing but to criticize and condemn people non-stop. I know this person likes to joke a lot but he gotta has a limit to it...he jokes non-stop day & night and he doesn't know whether that joke will hurt other people's feelings or not. I vow to myself from today onwards i should stay further away from this guy...errghh, i just hate him so much right now although he didn't know that i am hating him so much at this moment...enough about him too!!! As for now, i really wanna take this precious moments to show how much i care and miss my parents, my lovely dog, my brothers, my relatives and also my best friends back in Malaysia. Guys, i miss you all so so much...keep thinking about you all...Ivan Lee, Ivan Teh, Wei Loon, Alvin, Chooi Hoe, Kee Hong and not forgetting Jee Mee who is currently very close to me, in Manchester and also Yong Ming, who is currently in Australia. I also wanna thank God and my parents for giving me the opportunity to study in UK although it's just one year...please let me practice my British Vocational Course here after i have graduated...please...please. I am loving Newcastle day by day and i am even planning to have a UK permanent resident status here. But don't worry, i shall go back to Malaysia for holidays whenever i am free...because i miss everyone back there...love all of you...sobs...sobs...i am crying right now. Hope you are all doing fine. Anyway, the weather here is so cold...especially when the winds blow at your direction...i guess it really is an Early Winter in UK...the temperature during the day time has gone below 10 degrees celcius and i am freezing every hour, every minute and every second. Okie guys, i should stop blogging already...i gotta wake up early tomorrow morning to go to open my bank account at HSBC bank and i also need to go to the General Practitioner to do some medical checkup which is compulsory for all Northumbria University students. That's all for now...take care...bye!!!

~*Newcastle Is Awesome*~

Hey guys, i am back. I've been so busy this few days...have been going out from morning till late at night. My different group of friends kept inviting me over for dinner at their place. Yesterday, i went over to a friend's house for dinner with several of my closest friends and shockingly, there were like 7 westerners already there...2 of them are from Sweden, 1 from Italy, 1 from United States and the other 3 are local people. So, without any choice, we had to had dinner together with them...they seem so racist at first...but as time passes by, we got along very well. There were like a total of 15 people in the whole flat and you could imagine how noisy we were. Me being the shy one didn't talk too much at first but then, i didn't want them to think that i am a stuck-up person, so i have to join in the conversation. The guy from Italy is so damn hot...wearing the scarf around his neck...he looks like a real male model. I kept staring at him but luckily, he didn't realised that i was actually so into him. He's my new crush...Ricardo is his name...so guys, please remember that i officially have no more feelings for Aze and my new target is Ricardo. He's not pure Italian, he's a mix between Italian and Dutch...and i must admit, European guys are way hotter than Brazilians. Anyway, the dinner was great because i managed to make new friends and get lots of information about the various people from different backgrounds and cultures. As for today, my class officially starts at the brand new state-of-the-art campus which costs 100 million pounds to built and it's amazing and magnificient. Met some of our lecturers and they are really friendly too. Before i came over to UK, there were rumours saying that the lecturers here don't care about the students and et cetera...but that's not the case. The lecturers here are friendly and they are willing to help the students if they need any trouble. We were forced to choose our subjects by today...no extra time given...what the fuck??? They should allow us at least some days to think and closely analysed the subjects that we are going to take. So, i ended up choosing Family Law, Employment Law and Civil Liberties as my full option subjects and Intellectual Properties and Jurisprudence as my half option subjects. I am practically satisfied with the choices that i have made but i have to wait a little longer to see whether i have any regrets or not...fingers crossed, hopefully not. Dinner today was at Eric's house, and yes he has two cute ah moh guys staying at his house and one ah moh girl who is a lesbian. Although the two ah moh guys are cute, i am not into them either as i am only faithful to Ricardo from now onwards...hahaha, like i ever will be faithful to just one person. And this ah moh girl's lesbian partner is very beautiful...i guess she could also turn any gay guys straight...shit!!! And the best part is that they share the same name...Sarah...omigowd, which reminds me of the fucking Sarah back in Penang. Dinner tonight wasn't that great cause we only have bacon and egg sandwiches...and i am definitely not full enough. Seriously, after coming here, i am more and more slutty day by day...cause there's hot guys and girls too everywhere on the road. It's probably a good thing so that i will get bored soon looking and staring at them but i doubt i will ever get bored. ;) Oh yeah, i forgotten to mentioned that shopping here is splendid...it's like a shopping heaven here at Newcastle...everything here is so damn cheap if you didn't convert it back into Ringgit Malaysia. I am falling in love with Newcastle as time passes by and i planned to work and settle my life here after i have finished studying....guess i won't be returning back to Malaysia unless for holiday purpose...honestly. However, the bad thing about here is that the weather is extremely cold...yesterday and today have been particularly cold...i guess it's below 10 degrees celcius even in the afternoon. And according to the weather forecast, the temperature during the night is as low as 4 degrees celcius...it's fucking cold here...everyone has to wear thick layers of clothes and it's only autumn now. Imagine how cold the weather will be during winter. But the ah mohs here can stand the weather because they are already used to it. They can just wear one t-shirt and walk around without having to worry about the cold weather...i really do admire them. Although i have arrived here on friday, i still haven't got all my necessities yet...such as pots, pans, oil, butter, sugar, salt, pepper and et cetera...have been really busy shopping for other stuffs until i forgotten to purchase all my necessities. Among the things which i had bought is a new mobile phone (Sony Ericsson K800i), brand new clothes and lots of toiletries products. Anyway, enough about the boring stuffs...onto the more interesting stuffs...did you know that the clubs here everyday? And one of the club is so near to my accommodation that i can actually hear people screaming and throwing bottles of beer on the floor after clubbing...perhaps they are just too drunk to care about their surrounding circumstances. My evil friends have been persuading me to go drinking with them but i just simply refused to follow them due to the fact that i don't drink alcoholic drinks and also for fear of my own safety should there be any fights happening in the club or bar. Ok guys, i guess i should stop blogging already, gotta sleep early tonight because i am so tired and exhausted...shall blog again soon. Keep checking my blog for future updates...and don't worry, i will post up pictures as soon as i have the free time to upload the pictures to my computer. So, until then, bye!!!

~*A Brand New Life in Newcastle, Part 2*~

I am back sooner than expected...cause i am so bored right now sitting in my room doing nothing. It's only 7.30 in the morning and i am already awake...guess my body's biological clock still hasn't adapt to the local time here. I slept quite late last night becuase i was busy chatting with all my housemates...they were extremely friendly. I was busy surfing the internet in my room when i suddenly heard a knock at my room door. When i opened the door, all of them greeted me and we ended chatting for more than 2 hours. I guess the most talkative guy has got to be the Bruneian guy whom i presumed will be my close friend in the near future. We have so much in common...and yeah, he likes clubbing too but too bad he's so darn straight cause he keeps talking about hot chicks. My mouth got so tired that i have to end our conversation first by saying that i have to sleep already because i am so tired. Back in Penang, i am like the most talkative person but when i am here, i just lose to all my housemates except one guy from Hong Kong who is quite shy. But the more we talk, the more things he had to say. I am really really grateful that i got such nice people as my housemates, and i actually don't bother if i didn't get any westerners staying with me. My housemates are great people and i appreciate it. Later, i am going shopping with my friends to get some more things such as winter clothings, a new mobile phone, some toiletries products and some foodstuffs. Gotta go to the departmental store where they sell really cheap clothes which is of course, good quality too...it's something like F.O.S. and Reject Shop back in Malaysia. My friend told me that clothes sold there ranges from 2 pounds to 5 pounds, shoes cost less than 10 pounds and et cetera...and oh yeah, the Body Shop products here are so cheap unlike in Malaysia...someone would be so jealous right now...hahaha...don't worry, when i come back next year, i promised to buy some Body Shop products for you. ;) Anyway, i will continue blogging again later tonight when i come back from my shopping spree...as for now, i wanna go take my shower and have my breakfast already. I am gonna cook my first breakfast here...still haven't figure out what to cook yet...most probabbly have to eat Maggi noodles...sad...sobs. Bye!!!

~*A Brand New Life in Newcastle, Part 1*~

Hi everyone, it's been a long time since i last updated my blog. I have been very busy for the past few weeks due to my preparation to leave for UK. After nearly 20 hours journey time from Malaysia to UK, i finally arrived at Newcastle airport at around 12.30pm local time. A friend of mina and myself was greeted by a team of greeter called the "Meet & Greet" team from our university, Northumbria University upon arrival at the airport. They were very friendly and they welcome us with open hands. Then, we were taken to the accommodation office where we have to fill up a registration form and finally, they took me to my accommodation, Glenamara House. The flat unit i am staying at contains 6 rooms, a kitchen and 3 bathrooms. My room is located just beside the main entrance to my flat unit. Basically, it's a very nice room...it has a big study table, a comfortable lying chair, a wardrobe, a single bed and a personal hand basin. I am quite impressed with my room and i guess i can get used to it earlier than expected...i'm lovin' it. My housemates are great too...thank you God fulfilling my wish...three of them are from Hong Kong, one from Taiwan and another one from Brunei Darussalam...and he's so so hot...thanking God again. They are very friendly and we kinda chatted for a while. The next time you guys see me, i can speak fluent cantonese already...hahaha. After taking shower and resting for a short while, i went shopping with my friend to buy a bedsheet, pillow, duvet and a bolster...too bad that this accommodation does not provide bedding services...i have to buy them all and it's really expensive. Then, we went to the electronic gadgets store to look at some digital cameras and mobile phones...to my surprised, mobile phones sold in UK are very much cheaper than it is being sold in Malaysia even after converting it back into Ringgit Malaysia. After that, we went for dinner at McDonald's which is located just beside the electronic gadgets store...which was my first meal here in Newcastle. Call me stupid but in my opinion, the food served at McDonald's in Malaysia is much better compared to the one served here. The burger i bought was hard and the french fries is nearly tasteless...and the diet coke tasted different too. I won't be eating McDonald's again anytime soon. Eventhough i have my entire classmates here with me, i still feel very lonely due to the fact that i am a minority here at Newcastle...the ratio of an Asian citizen to a local citizen is 1:10...left, right, front, back...everyone is pure English unlike in London, where you can see different races of people anywhere on the streets. However, i must admit that English people are very very friendly and good-mannered...oh yeah, there are lots of handsome guys and pretty ladies at every corner of the road...i can just faint every few seconds...honestly. The weather here is very cold although it's still autumn...in the afternoon it's about 17 degrees celcius and during the night, it could drop down to below 10 degrees celcius...i'm freezing right now but thankfully i have a heater inside my room. I wouldn't dare to imagine what will happen to me during the winter. Anyway, i shall post up pictures of my room and the surrounding scenery of the place i am staying at when i have the free time to do so...as for now, i wanna go take unpack my stuffs first...still haven't finish unpacking yet. Shall blog again some other time. Take care...bye!!!

P.S. Thanks i.t.ch. for dedicating a post for me in your blog...i appreciate it. ;)
